Ryu (リュウ, Ryū)

A small boy living in Medicine City who is mauled by one of Galf's dogs. A villager intervenes and saves Ryu by killing the canine. However, Galf's minions witness the incident and the villager is executed by the Dog Master for his "crime".

While originally unnamed in the manga, in the anime he is given the name Ryu.
