Nagato: Difference between revisions

: The second-in-command of [[Hyoh|Hyoh's]] army. Nagato and his four subordinates are some of the few Shura warriors who still have some humanity in them. He cherished Hyoh like a brother and hoped he would someday overthrow [[Kaioh]] and free the land of [[Shura no Kuni|Kingdom of Shura]] from Kaioh's brutal rule. However, when the corrupted Hyoh swears loyalty to Kaioh, Nagato and his four subordinates renounce their positions, saying Hyo was no longer he was once was. Hyoh curses them as traitors and kills Nagato's subordinates. Nagato reluctantly fights back against his old friend, shocked at how far Hyo has fallen, but is easily killed by Hyoh.

Hyoh also has his men burn down the village where he lived with Nagato, causing the death of one of Nagato's young sons.

: In the TV series, Nagato offers shelter to the injured [[Shachi]] and [[Kenshiro]]. Several flashbacks detailing Nagato and his men history with Hyo are shown including Hyo allowing a man and his family to leave [[Asura]] against Kaioh's orders. Kenshiro also meets and rescues Nagato's father, [[Petero]], who takes care of his sons after his death. Kenshiro also rescues both of Nagato's children.

* In the manga, Hyo kills Nagato by chopping his head off. In the anime, Hyo kills Nagato by chopping him in half at the waist. Both deaths end with Nagato's body being burnt to cinders by Hyo's aura.
