Raoh examines the scroll and agrees to spare their lives, but as there can only be one successor, they must spend the rest of their lives in prison. He is separated from his wife and child, and would call out to let each other know they're still alive. However, when his wife went silent, he realized she had died, leaving him to die of grief.
