- Hyūi of the Wind (風のヒューイ Kaze no Hyūi)
- Hyui is a member of the Nanto Goshasei and leader of the Wind Brigade. He uses a special martial art which manipulates air currents to slice adversaries into pieces.
- In order to put a stop to Ken-Oh's reign of terror, Hyui began to mobilize his troops by attacking each of Ken-Oh's Invasion Forces one by one in an attempt to lure out their leader. When Ken-Oh emerged, Hyui attacked valiantly but his power was too weak to faze Ken-Oh, who destroyed him with a single punch, shattering every bone in his body.
TV Series
- In a change to the manga, Hyui meets Kenshiro after eliminating David and his lackeys from Ken-Oh's Recruiting Corps. Hyui challenges Kenshiro to a battle to test his strength, and is impressed when Kenshiro injures his right-arm despite refusing to fight. Hyui warns Kenshiro that another member of the Goshasei will search him out before taking his leave.
- Hyui also has a younger brother in the anime called Zion, who is his second-in-command within the Wind Brigade. Likewise, the name of his martial art, Gosha Fūretsu Ken, is only mentioned in the anime.
Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken
- In the OVA Yuria Den, Hyui teams up with Fudoh and Shuren in their mission to capture Rei for the Last Nanto General.
