- Gaoh (我王 Gaō)
- A rival warlord to Ken-Oh, originally mentioned in the Ten no Haoh manga, he only appears in the anime adaptation. He is the philandering ruler of the impregnable Black Steel Castle (黒鉄城 Kokutetsujō).
- While withstanding a siege from Ken-Oh's army for over a week, Gaoh conspired with the neighboring kings who had sworn fealty to Raoh to turn on their master. He also wanted Reina captured alive in order to observe her beauty.
- However, Sakuya devises a plan to take the castle for Raoh in one night. She successfully infiltrates the castle and seduces Gaoh, despite the misgivings of his general, Habaki. She lures Gaoh to the window, where Reina shoots him with an arrow. After Gaoh's death, Habaki assumes command of the castle's defenses, but he dies fighting Raoh, and Ken-Oh's army take advantage of the chaos to seize the castle.
