Nanto Kokaku Ken
Nanto Kōkaku Ken (南斗紅鶴拳, South Dipper Flamingo Fist; also can be translated as South Dipper Crested Ibis Fist): A style based on long-range, vertical, attacks used by Yuda. It can attack a wide vertical range, seems to cause more damage when used for vertical slices, and is said to be so fast that the shockwave from an attack can split an enemy from the back.
Techniques
- Denshō Reppa (伝衝裂波, Legendary Thrust Split Wave): A mud-splitting wave attack used by Yuda. Unnamed in the manga. Kenshiro later uses this technique against Shū after witnessing Yuda use it in battle. In the anime series, Raoh has also learned the style and uses it against Kenshiro.
- Kesshō Shi (血粧嘴, "Blood Makeup Beak"): The ultimate Kokaku Ken attack. A technique Yuda was about to performed on Rei before he was killed. In the 2005 Hokuto no Ken: Shinpan no Sōsōsei Kengō Retsuden fighting game, it is assumed to be a psycho crusher-style human torpedo attack. In the Ten no Haoh anime, Yuda shapes his hands into claws and lashes out with a rapid-fire stabbing technique, akin to the Hokuto Shinken technique Hyakuretsu Ken.
- Tenketsu Bakura: Technique from the Ten no Haoh anime; some kind of stabbing technique that shapes the hand into a claw.
- Nanto Yōsō Hazan (南斗鷹爪破斬, South Dipper Hawk Talon Ruin Slash): Vertical cut used to kill Dagar.
