Revision as of 22:03, 14 May 2010 by Arkhound(talk | contribs)(→Trivia: Bronza is a game-original character, just like how Taiga and Boltz are anime-original characters. Also the game console is called Famicom (or NES), not "Nintendo".)
The General of the Red Light. An old friend of Falco's, who despises Jakō's actions after taking the throne. When Kenshirō and Yulia set out after Raoh's death, Shoki allowed them to live in his home village after Ken saved it from bandits. In the anime, he encounters Kenshirō again as a Gento Kō Ken Fighter. Ken defeats him but doesn't kill him because he didn't sense within Shoki; he also thanks him for giving Yuria her final resting place. Later, he attempts to kill Jakoh, after having enough of his corruption towards Falco and the rest of the Gento, and is seemingly killed by Falco in a ruse; afterwards, Falco told him to escape the Tentei. Shiino (Boltz in the TV series) sees through the ruse and pierces Shoki with his spear. Shoki dies after seeing Kenshiro one last time begging Kenshiro to defeat the Tentei as it has become evil.
Trivia
In the Hokuto no Ken 2 video game released by Toei for the Famicom, a new character named Bronza replaces Shoki as the the Gento General of the Red Light. However, in the official strategy guide published by Jump Comics Selection, Shoki is still mentioned as Kenshiro's friend who was killed by Sheeno.
