Ryūrō (リュウロウ)
- Master of Nanto Ryūō Ken, once known as the "Resourceful Nanto General" (南斗の智将 Nanto no Chishō). After the fighting broke out, he refused to join Souther's army and retreated to live an ascetic life tending windmills in Wind Village. Raoh decides to recruit him into his army, but Ryūrō refuses him as well, wishing instead to join Kenshirō. Ryūrō is forced to fight Raoh, but due to a terminal illness he is able to overpower him and loses his life in the battle.
- Ryūrō makes a short cameo in Rei Gaiden during a summit of the Nanto Roku Sei Ken, effectively taking the place of Shū.
