Nobuhiko Horie
Nobuhiko Horie (堀江信彦, born August 17, 1955) was the editor of Hokuto no Ken, often considered to be the uncredited third creator of the manga.
In 1979 he began working editor of Shueisha's Shonen Jump. Horie suggested to Tetsuo Hara that he should draw a manga about "a martial artist who destroys his opponents by striking their acupressure points" based on Hara's aspiration to draw a martial arts manga.
He worked as the chief editor of Comic Bunch and ghostwrote Souten no Ken. (He is actually credited as writer on the English language copies.)
He was also the screenwriter for the anime Shin Hokuto no Ken and Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken. He is sometimes credited as Seibō Kitahara (北原星望).
