Ogre (オグル, Oguru)

An original character exclusive to the Hokuto no Ken: New Legend Creation Pachislot game. He was a successor of Gento Kō Ken and General of the Imperial Army, known as Emerald Light Ogre (翠光のオグル, Suikō no Oguru). Ogre rebelled against Jako's tyranny and left the Imperial Capital, wandering the wasteland while hiding his identity. During this time, he formed a posse and ruled his own territory.

Ogre meets Bat at a bar, who felt powerless to protect the one he loved, and agreed to train him. Without disclosing his identity, Ogre taught Bat martial arts and military tactics, and the two formed a strong bond.

Several years later, Ogre rejoined the Imperial Army and was ordered to quell the uprising of the Hokuto Army. He was shocked to learn their leader was Bat. The two of them fought and Ogre was struck by how much his student had grown. Ogre dies shielding Bat from an arrow fired by the Imperial Army, but lives long enough to remove the arrow and launch it back at them. When asked why he sacrificed himself, Ogre says he died "protecting one he loved" and tells Bat he's like a son to him.
