- Sabato (サバト Sabato)
- A minion of Raoh who oppresses a village under his rule. He is a glutton who constantly eats, and when he fears that he's losing weight he forces the villagers to steal more food from other villages. If anyone opposes him, he publicly executes them by hanging them from a noose and letting crows eat them alive.
TV Series[edit | edit source]
- One of the many villagers forced to do Sabato's bidding, Jinom, is caught stealing food by Kenshiro and tells him that his girlfriend Mami has been threatened with the same execution. Kenshiro convinces him and his gang to smuggle him to Sabato, disguised as a food supply. Kenshiro emerges and fights Sabato, avoiding his body slam attack and spear to strike a pressure point called Suicho which makes the victim's body give off the stench of blood. The murder of crows begin pecking Sabato to death, to which Jinom tells his freed girlfriend that she must watch him die, as he would've done the same to them. After Sabato explodes, the birds continue eating his remains.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
- He is an incredibly tall overweight man who has receding blond hair, a unibrow, sideburns, and a mustache. He has a bulbous nose with bumps all over it and small beady eyes, and he is missing some of his front teeth as well.
- He wears no shirt, a small white scarf or bib, a pair of shoulderpads, one of which is covered in spikes, a pair of vambraces that have spikes around the collar. He also wears a light purple kilt that is held up by a large leather belt.
Personality[edit | edit source]
- He is incredibly cruel, as he likes to execute people for simply opposing him by hanging them up and having crows eat them alive, he is also gluttonous and likes to eat, but in spite of this it doesn't serve as a source of personal motivation, as he would rather enlist innocent villagers to steal food for him with threats than do it himself.
- He has no issues with his weight, and in fact is afraid of losing it, which serves as his main reason for his enlisting of Villagers as thieves and mercenaries to steal food for him.
- Despite his cruelty, he does as some redeeming features; as he's shown to genuinely like and care for his actual henchmen and not the villagers he forces to steal food for him, as he got concerned and gently grabbed a pair of his men, asking them what was wrong when they were attacked by Kenshiro, and got offended and enraged when those two henchmen died from the power of the Hokuto Shin Ken in front of his eyes.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
- He possesses naturally high strength like most characters of his size and stature, being able to effortlessly pick up two of his men.
- One of his signature moves is to preform a body press to crush his enemies with his weight, but his real specialty in combat seems to be focused around spears, as he is capable of stabbing with them at extremely high speeds.
