: Taking advantage of the peaceful era, Kouketsu forced Raoh's men into slavery by kidnapping their children, including [[Balga]], whose young son, [[Shingo]], was taken prisoner. Believing the age of power was over, he ruled over a monopoly of agriculture and sent his armies to any conquer any fertile land. This caused the deaths of [[Ryu|Ryu's]] adoptive parents and began Ryu & [[Kenshiro|Kenshiro's]] quest for revenge. They infiltrated the slave camp and formed an uprising against Kouketsu, reviving the spirit of Raoh's army. Failing to defeat Kenshiro with his [[Kouketsu's Pet|Frankeinstein-like "pet"]], Kouketsu accidentally killed himself with one of his own traps.
