Zōng-Wǔ desired to kill [[Kenshirō Kasumi]] in order to prove that Hokuto Ryūka Ken was superior than [[Hokuto Shinken]]. After killing Dù Tiãn-Fēng and finally avenging his parents' deaths he renounced his evil ways and became a monk.
