He was the sifu who adopted and trained [[Raoh]], [[Toki]], [[Jagi]], and [[Kenshirō]]. After choosing Kenshirō as the next successor, Ryūken was slain by Raoh, largely by chance, as he suffered a temporary [[wikipedia:myocardial infarction|heart attack]] just when he was about to seal Raoh's fist after failing to prevent his misuse of Hokuto Shin Ken.
