- Ramon Kasumi (霞 羅門 Kasumi Ramon), later known as Ryūken (リュウケン), was Kenshirō's adoptive father and the 63rd successor of Hokuto Shin Ken.
Souten no Ken

He named Kenshirō after his older brother, Kenshirō Kasumi, because they both had a Big Dipper-shaped birthmark. His refers to his older brother as the "Strongest Hokuto Shin Ken warrior" who is as "mighty as the blue sky above." The young Ramon first protected Aya Kitaōji from hired thugs, later serving as a bodyguard to Pān Yù-Líng from the Tài Hú Bāng during her stay in Japan. Ramon is later revealed to be Kenshiro's half-brother, since Kenshiro was born from a different mother.
