Galzus (ガルザス, Garuzasu)
A member of the Holy Emperor's army who only appears in the anime.

AppearanceEdit

He is a lrage, red-haired man who has long hair, which is balding at the top of his head, and he also has a small amount of stubble around his chin.

He is garishly dressed, as he wears a pair of green shoulderpads that has yellow feathers attached to them, as well as a matching pair of suspenders as well as a purple pair of pants with green boots and golden pauldrons.

PersonalityEdit

He is despicable, even by the standards of the many depraved individuals making up the Holy Emperor's army. He is responsible for kidnapping children and forcing them into being laborers and is also a lecherous man, as he intended to make Ami into a sex slave while flailing his tongue pervertedly.

Despite this, he is slightly more clever than the average thug in the wasteland, although nowhere near Jackal's level, as he tried to distract Kenshiro by bursting into crocodile tears and claiming that he had a sister he needed to support.

TV SeriesEdit

He is first seen with a traitorous villager who has kidnapped children and given information about Shu's hideaway in exchange for a chance to join the Holy Emperor for protection. When he is captured by Jay and the other members of Shu's resistance, he fakes a story about serving Souther to protect his kidnapped little sister. While the resistance members let their guard down, he murders them in cold blood, revealing he never had a family since he was born.

He later invades Suwannee Village, where he lecherously takes Ami (Jay's fiancée) hostage. On the river, he uses Ami as bait for Kenshiro. The new recruit who had joined him earlier unknowingly runs into a trap in the water meant for Ken and dies instantly. He has no luck when repeating this trick against Kenshiro, who sees through his crocodile tears, having been warned about Galzus from Jay and kills him with the Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken

NotesEdit

  • Galzus has an unused portrait in Hokuto no Ken 3, this would have been his only video game appearance.
