Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Kenshirō Den (真救世主伝説 北斗の拳 ケンシロウ伝, Fist of the North Star: The Legends of the True Savior: Legend of Kenshirō) is a theatrical movie by North Stars Pictures which premiered in Japan nationwide on October 11, 2008 and is part of the Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken film series.
Plot
- Taking place during the missing year between Kenshiro's defeat at the hands of Shin and the beginning of the manga, Kenshiro is left to the mercy of the wasteland with seven wounds on his chest. He is discovered by a travelling family until they are all captured by the eccentric slaver, Guruma to be sold at Gesso City. From here, we discover how Kenshiro recovered from his wounds and awakened to his destiny as the 'true savior'.

- To promote the movie and commemorate Hokuto no Ken's 25th anniversary, a real-life wedding between Kenshirō and Yuria was held at Tokyo's Nippon Seinenkan Grand Hall.
